I was just reading up on Star Wars: Obi-Wan, and it turns out Amidala was kidnapped by Tusken raiders on Tatooine, only to be saved by Obi. Neither the Obi-Wan or Amidala articles makes any mention of this, nor do they mention Obi's various misadventures in the game prior to the blockade on naboo. So is Star Wars: Obi-Wan canon? • I believe it's non-canon. Chack Jadson 12:38, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
    • Are you sure about the game's non-canon status? I haven't played it, but isn't the premise of the level that Obi-Wan rescues the "queen" (actually Sabé, since Padme is in Mos Espa with Qui-Gon) and gets her back to the ship without Qui-Gon ever finding out? So unless there is a higher source which explicitly states that that does NOT happen... then it's canon, right? -- SM-716 talk? 13:29, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
      • The game is canon. If it wasn't there would be a non-canon tag or something on the article itself. Jasca Ducato Sith Council Sith Campaign 16:26, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
        • A game can be official but not everything in it be canon. Death Star Designer is an example with the earth-type amusement features. -Fnlayson 22:35, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
          • Everything that can be explained as game mechanics are non-canon, but unless anyone can confim that Obi-Wan as a whole is non-canon, the story is very much C-canon. Video games being C-canon is arguably the single greatest source we have for continuity violation, and this seems to be no exception. DarthMRN 00:29, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
            • I seem to recall reading Leland Chee specifically mentioning some elements of Obi-wan as examples of gameplay that weren't canon, but for the life of me I can't find it. It's definitely not in the most recent 15 pages of the Holocron thread. jSarek 01:00, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
              • I think I've heard that too, but I don't know where. Chack Jadson 22:44, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
