I am in need of pointers to help better the greatest Star Wars encyclopedia in the world Unsigned comment by Pochama55 (talk • contribs).

  • Thanks for the compliment. You can start by looking at the links on your talk page. You can also have a look at some of our articles, and click the "Edit" button to see how they are formatted. Welcome again, and please don't hesitate to ask any further questions. Cheers! --Azizlight 03:27, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Always sign talk pages and forums by typing what you want first then type in 4 tildes like this ~~~~ Mandofett 20:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
  • No fanon! Thats one of the few things that can get you banned outright. You can't add your own fanon informaiton to an article. Go to the Star Wars Fanon Wiki if you want to do that. And btw, sorry if i'm coming across as harsh, i don't intend so. Jasca Ducato Sith Council Sith Campaign 22:01, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
    • To test things, use the Jundland Wastes. If you want to know how to do something, ask me on my talk page. I'm glad to help. Chack Jadson 10:54, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Check out Wookieepedia:Maintenance from time to time; they have updateable lists with articles that need updating in one way or another. Jwebb13HoloNetSith Emblem 03:18, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
    • Oh, and if you're ever in doubt about how to do something, just find someone who's done it (check the article's history) and ask. I didn't know how to do any of this stuff when I started, but people on here were great about giving advice, and if all else fails, copy the code of whatever you want to do, and modify it if necessary (that's how I created my user template and first userboxes).
