Forums > Senate Hall archive > SH Archive/Attention: deletion of sourceless systems and stars

All articles in Category:Sourceless stars and Category:Sourceless systems will be deleted in 7 days. I suggest you start looking for sources now. - Sikon 17:38, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

  • At least it was announced. Is there actual progress being made since the announcement? -- Riffsyphon1024 04:32, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I appreciate that. Too many of those damn things keep popping up when I hit random article. Enochf 17:45, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
  • It's about time. I hate all those too, and even I wasn't about to try individually VFDing them.--Valin Kenobi 23:22, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I have a suggestion. Sort of. A lot of these are going to get deleted and then leave redlinks on planet pages where someone has assumed that (for instance) Rattatak was in the Rattatak system and placed that unverified information on the infobox of the planet (I've already removed that particular one). Then people are just going to go back behind them and recreate the articles to fill in those redlinks. Instead of just mass deleting them like is probably planned, can several people do it and either check one by one what links there and remove the information from linking pages or place {{fact}} or something by the information in the infoboxes? I'm trying to remove the links from the ones I know for sure are just crap people made up, but I seriously doubt that it'll be perfect in two more days when the delete goes down. • Yea, why can't we just get people to review the sources of the planets to see if the star or system exists in that source? -- Riffsyphon1024 18:24, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
