While I was creating the article for Beyond the Rim, I realized that we don't have a great category for future products that are tabletop games (i.e. roleplaying games or board games). There is Category:Future games, but that says that it is "for upcoming video and computer games." Although tabletop roleplaying games could perhaps go under Category:Future books, it's not a great fit as it's designed to be played as a game.
I'd like to propose that we broaden Category:Future games to any sort of upcoming game, whether it be a computer/video game or a tabletop game. This also helps keep the category useful, as there is only one upcoming computer game, but multiple tabletop game items in the works. It seems to me that this would be a rather simple change simply requiring retagging some of the upcoming products, especially for Star Wars: The Card Game, and changing some of other categories linked on that category page, (although that leaves the question of whether or not we have, for instance, Category:Board game if there are no upcoming board games). -Thunderforge (talk) 06:27, June 18, 2013 (UTC)
I don't think a consensus is needed to alter the purpose of a category. If you feel it is a good change, go ahead and do what it necessary to see it through. I agree that it would be good to use the category for more than just video games. OLIOSTER(talk) 14:58, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
