  • I don't know what the policy is on parodies at Wookieepedia... do you think the character parodies of Spaceballs could be made into separate non-canon entries? I'm thinking especially Dark Helmet, Lone Starr, Barf, Yogurt, Colonel Sandurz, Princess Vespa, President Skroob, Dot Matrix, Druidia, The Schwartz, and Spaceball One, and maybe Pizza the Hutt, might warrant individual entries, maybe...? And maybe while we're at it, characters like Fluke Starbucker, Ham Salad, Augie Ben Doggie, Chewchilla, Darph Nader and Princess Anne-Droid from Hardware Wars? I would only suggest this for notable characters, planets, races, etc., that are clearly direct parodies from the movies. And yeah, maybe I'm just thinking of cheap ways to inflate Wookieepedia to 50,000 articles. Enochf 19:39, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Not really my place to say, but that might cause problems as we would have to add links from the articles on the characters that were parodied, meaning extra time and work. I'm fine with it as long as I don't have to do any :P jkjk lol. I don't mind, but, like I said, not my place to say. Trenton Vinh 20:04, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I don't think so. Maybe just a line about those characters on the page where they appear (like Dark Helmet on the Spaceballs page). Chack Jadson 20:06, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
    • I have to agree with Chack Jadson in that this isn't that significant to canon. Trust me, there are ways to get to 50,000 articles. All those poor KotOR II items that have yet to be cataloged . .. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 20:19, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Oh, well. I mean the Chewbacca defense got an entry. ^_^ Enochf 20:21, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Current policy is that fanfilms and fanfilm content get only one article, and I don't see why professional parodies should be any different. Havac 00:23, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
  • All these characters should be covered in the Spaceballs article as the whole thing is a parody. Then we can concentrate on making that article better than its ever been. -- Riffsyphon1024 22:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
