Recently stumbled across Cleo Mangi. Going through the page history, an anon asserted that the name came from the Star Wars Customizable Card Game and was mentioned in the technician lore. That's as specific as they got. No particular card was ever mentioned. Most of the backstory in the article however matches the "Cloud City Technician" card which is identifiable as a character from Empire Strikes Back. I've gone through the cards one-by-one on http://www.starwarsccg.org/ and cannot find any mention of the name.
Can anyone confirm that the original .gif of the card, uploaded by decipher onto their site back in the day, doesn't differ from the actual printed card; or that the name appears in the original instruction manual for the game?
Heh, I see from Talk:Cleo Mangi that I went looking for his name a full seven years ago, and couldn't find it then. Just rechecked both the gif and the physical card, as well as the pdf of the rules sheet, and what was the case all those years ago is still the case: the name's not there. Seems like it's about time we call it fanon and move on. jSarek (talk) 06:23, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
Hehe, better late than never, right? I'll go ahead and move the page. Thanks for taking the time (again) to look into it. Thanks JSarek! Rokkur Shen (talk) 07:12, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
