The number of articles found in Category:Articles that are conjecture is alarming. Many of these are either worthless single line articles on topics that hardly deserve one (see Bothan High Command). How do other feel about some of these topics? --SparqMan 00:17, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

  • For the most part, those conjecture articles are just articles about stuff that's unnamed. And since we have plenty of non-conjecture trivial articles, it doesn't really bother me. Kuralyov 00:22, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

You're right, but I think I should clarify. In the case of Bothan High Command and its ilk, significance has been assigned to a group or individual that is just background noise. For example, plenty of unnamed beings are seen in comic panels as well as wandering around in RPGs. If the information is relevant, for example that a contingent of Bothan rebels were stationed at Yavin IV, then it probably has a better home (an article about the Bothan rebel movement, Fifth Battle of Yavin IV) than a conjecturally named article that steps into fanon and could be folded in elsewhere. --SparqMan 00:35, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
