I had a quick browse through the CT archive and didn't see anything on this--just a confusing debate about BBY/ABY vs. GrS--so forgive me if I've missed something.
But is there some policy in place regarding the use of decimal points in years on this wikia? So often in both Timeline of.. pages and in articles themselves, I see things like "43.5 ABY", or in the case of one of the Coruscant Nights novels, "18.8 BBY."
To me this is kind of baffling. If I was talking about events happening in June of 2004, I certainly wouldn't be describing it as taking place "2004.5 AD," it would just be taking place in "2004 AD." So why the bizarre usage of decimal points in years with BBY/ABY? Is there some policy in place which dictates their usage, or is this something that's been put down to editor discretion somewhere? –DigiFluid 17:48, February 2, 2012 (UTC)
