I was thinking that it might be good to have a cataogry for lightsaber duals (either as a stand alone, or a subcategory of battles). Lightsaber dauls are critical events in many, if not most, Star Wars stories, and are complex enough that they deserve articals studying each daul individually.

Any takers?

  • How many articles on duels do we actually have? Is there enough to warrant a separate category? - Kwenn 09:17, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
    • There's at least five from scanning the search with duel/. It's enough to warrant a category. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:23, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
    • Well, examining just the movies you have ten (Qui-gon vs. Maul, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs. Maul, Obi-Wan and Anakin vs. Dooku, Yoda vs. Dooku, Obi-Wan and Anakin vs. Dooku again, Yoda vs. Sidious, Obi-Wan vs. Anakin, Obi-Wan vs. Vader, Luke vs. Vader, and Luke vs. Vader again). If you count Luke in the dark side cave, (which I wouldn't) you've got eleven. This is just from the movies. Once you get into the EU there are of course many, many more.--Jad Jermain 06:01, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Okay, I miscounted... I forgot the four Jedi vs. Sidious dual, but the good person who took initiative on my suggestion for a dueling subcategory remembered it. Make that eleven duals in the movies, plus the dark side cave.--71.201.40.103 06:06, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
        • that was me again. For some reason, I keep getting logged out, with out it telling me.--Jad Jermain 06:08, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
        • I can just add the category to Template:Duel. That way, no one will have to tag each and every duel article.--Sentry [Talk] 06:10, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
