Forums > Senate Hall archive > SH Archive/Edit Count page problem

  • Cool to see this feature finally implemented! But the "100%" tab isn't calculating properly, at least not on my browser. I've got 7000+ edits, 5000+ in the main section, and it's telling me that's something like 0.06%. Nuh-uh. Somebody must have reversed something. It displays wrong for other users with similar voting patterns. Enochf 07:24, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
    • I think that percentage is of total edits performed by all users in that namespace, not the percent that namespace takes up of your edits. jSarek 07:33, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
      • Maybe, but try typing in some of those "single issue" voters, and you'll see the numbers add up to 100%, with more than 90% devoted to the Wookieepedia section. Enochf 07:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
        • Hmm, so they do. Okay, count me in among users affected by this bug/feature. jSarek 07:50, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
          • See here. Basically, it confuses commas with decimal points. When a particular number is way off, just move the decimal three places and estimate. -- Ozzel 08:04, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
            • Commas? Enochf 08:08, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
              • Yep. 1,000 becomes 1. 3,254 becomes 3. Etc. -- Ozzel 08:09, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
                • Pardon my chuckling, but shouldn't the page be using a purely numerical value instead of a text string with a comma? Enochf 08:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
                  • You would think so. -- Ozzel 08:19, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

The word "oops" comes to mind... this is fixed now though -- Sannse 16:00, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Thanks for fixing it! -- Ozzel 00:17, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
