Wouldn't it make more sense if we used In Univerce Era names? like Expansionist Era, and stuff like that? -CorellianJedi Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

  • Somehow this question got lost: I'll bump it back to the top of the Senate Hall. On the one hand, putting the OOU publishing eras in character infoboxes is redundant with the eras box at the top of the article, and is also, well, OOU. On the other hand, we don't have a complete set of IU era names to use instead. Any thoughts? Or will we just move this into the Senate Hall archive after another four months with no further comments? 8) —Silly Dan (talk) 00:01, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
  • I don't really see the point of putting publishing eras in infoboxes. They're supposed to be fully in-universe, and we have this blatantly OOU entry in the middle of it. I mean, it was the desire to keep them IU that we took out the 'played by' entry. Besides, someone can just click on the source, read the article, see what the birth/death dates are, or just look to the top of the page now that we have that. I vote we remove the publishing eras from infoboxes, but don't replace them with IU-eras for the same reasons SillyDan gave. Kuralyov 01:08, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
  • The only thing that bothers me is to convey information like that by images only (the era symbols don't even have alt-texts) --Craven 04:52, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
