I thought that it would be easier for people to picture the planet's location in the SW galaxy, if we included a galaxy map, with the mentioned star system pointed out with a red dot or something? I now that most of the maps are completely fanon and "home made". And there have also been a discussion in the Senate Hall about it. Just wondered if we could use one map as a guideline or something? Anyway is it possible or is the idea just to crazy as it would require hard editing work? Lorth Needa 21:08, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

  • I just bought this, the Star Wars New Essential Chronology. It has a Map of every planet there ever was, and it outlines the deep core, core worlds, colonies, inner rim, ezpansion region, mid rim, and Outer Rim, Wild Space, and Unknown Regions. It also shows major space routes. You could definetly have an experienced person make a map from that. Text by Daniel Wallace with Kevin J. Anderson. Publisher: Del Rey, Ballantine Books, New York. • Say that with a grain of salt, Bothan. To include every planet made, you would be talking about 3,000 planets on that map. Do you see that many on there? -- Riffsyphon1024 04:37, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
  • when is say"every planet" i mean any thing that had some significance of importance (not including moons). When you say three thousand its a bit ove an over exagerate because not only r u over estimating but taking in moons that are or once were populated.BothanEliteHardCore
  • This is really a difficult decission, use a fanon-map and you intend to get all the planets totally out of place. Use a fanon-made map and you at least have something to go on. Shoulden't this be a project for George Lucas? To create a map over his galaxy?;) Lorth Needa 08:10, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
  • just trying to figure out a solution BothanEliteHardCore
  • Is there a way that we could just use the actual map from the book? I have seen it and its actually rather good.
  • Technically, its a canon-fanon , really disputable between canon and fanon. But the map stands, its very accurate, and high in detail. I would say scan and upload. Same Bothan
