Forums > Senate Hall archive > SH Archive/Highlight clicked references in color

Wikipedia has a useful feature that highlights the respective entry in the references list in blue color when you click on a reference. At the moment, when you click on a ref ([1]) in a Wookieepedia article it's not always easy to see which entry in the references section belongs to that ref. If there's not enough content below the ref list, the browser just scrolls to the bottom of the page.

It would be easy to implement: just add

/* Highlight clicked reference in blue to help navigation */
 ol.references > li:target { background-color: #DEF; }
 sup.reference:target { background-color: #DEF; }

to MediaWiki:Common.css (copied code from ). I added it to my personal css and it works just fine. --Craven 13:32, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
