How do you put the thing on an article thats says it should be deleted and things like that? I'm sort of new here so i don't know all that much. I just ran into a situation in which i found an article that was just written (and is not that good) and there is already a very good article on that subject. I'm not really sure about what to do in those situations. Timifer 03:53, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Use the templates described at Wookieepedia:Template messages, by adding the name of the template to the article in double braces {{like this}}. Some examples: {{vfd}} will send it to votes for deletion, {{delete}} will mark it to be deleted, {{nonsense}} will mark it as nonsense to be deleted, {{cleanup}} will list it as an article needing to be cleaned up, {{fanon}} will mark it as apparent misplaced fanfiction, {{sources}} is for articles without sources, and {{merge}}, with the proper parameters, would be used to mark duplicate articles which need to be merged into one. —Silly Dan (talk) 04:15, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
