Now that a preview of The Star Wars has been released by Dark Horse Comics, the first pieces of information about the "new" character are available. The question is: are we going to create a new article for each of those characters, or are we going to mention the "alternate route" in the BTS subsection of the character's canon version? For example, should we create a Breha (Aquilae) article or just mention the Aquilaean queen in Breha Organa's BTS? --LelalMekha (talk) 09:05, May 28, 2013 (UTC)

My feeling would be new, non-canon marked articles. If they had remained as names and ideas on draft scripts, then relegating them to the BTS would have been fine. Given they have actual depictions in a story (albeit it non-canon), then I would tend to favor articles being created for them, with the appropriate links in their canon-counterpart's BTS to illustrate the relationship. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 09:13, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
I suppose a vast majority of users would agree with you—and so do I—but I guess we should start a CT in order to do things by the book? --LelalMekha (talk) 09:18, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
A CT is probably the best bet, but I would hold off for a few days and allow for some more discussion here just in case anyone else has a better argument or idea for the situation so that a CT with all the options can be created from the beginning without adding in extra points or third options. - Sir Cavalier of OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 09:22, May 28, 2013 (UTC)
Agreed with Cav. That was actually my assumption when I was writing the The Star Wars article, and hence why it's full of redlinks. — DigiFluid(Whine here) 01:50, May 29, 2013 (UTC)
