As our Imperial categories currently make no distinction between the various Imperial factions, I will be revamping our categorization system to bring out those distinctions. This will be a project that may take a few days. I will announce when it is complete, but while it is in progress, please refrain from recategorizing anyone, as it could result in their being missed when I'm putting people into various other categories. In short, you will stuff up the process, and I will get very pissed off. Don't do it. No matter how tempting it is, just leave the categories alone until I'm done. You never know if a new subcategory will be created that could result in another categorization being more appropriate. Hopefully, this won't actually take that long. Thanks. • I think Jasha was created after you began, so, however you're doing it, try not to miss him. --Eyrezer 11:02, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Got him, thanks. And to anyone who's creating an article during this, just stick them in Category:Imperials and I'll take care of them eventually. Havac 17:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
  • The Imperial character infobox should be altered to include "master" and "apprentice" categories or else information about Imperial Knights and Imperial Dark Siders will be incomplete.--Gonzalo84 06:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
    • It already has been. And that's not really the topic of this. Havac 17:52, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
  • "Imperial Navy pilots of the Galactic Empire" sounds way too redundant. Can't we get a better name than that? Shock Wave 22:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Like what? Galactic Empire Imperial Navy pilots? You've got to have Imperial Navy and Galactic Empire both in there. Oh, and sign with your actual username. Havac 22:36, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
    • That was exceptionally rude. I thought these wiki things were meant to generate ideas and free discussion. And, before you say anything, I don't have a username with which to sign.
      • How about "Naval pilots of the Galactic Empire"? That should be OK, unless you don't think we can assume people will know the navy of any form of the Galactic Empire would be called the Imperial Navy. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:43, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
        • We always use the formal term for the military if available. I'm extremely loathe to abandon that principle for a minor case of redundancy. Extremely loathe. Havac 22:46, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
          • I, on the other hand, dislike it but not enough to push for a change. Anyway, the important and difficult part is splitting the Imperials up by era: renaming the categories later can be done by a bot if there's a call for it. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:49, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
            • Exactly. Havac 23:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Will Imperial military units be split between First Galactic Empire, Fel Empire, Empire in Exile and Krayt's Empire?.--Gonzalo84 20:09, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Only if someone else wants to, at this point. I'm now done with the characters, and I'm burned out on that. I'll repeat, This is done, and people are free to go back to categorizing. If you have questions about how the system works, please ask here. Havac 23:33, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
