I realize the Star Wars Infinities comic series are not canon, however I am a big fan. (Got to love the pic of an all white Vader at the end of the RotJ Infinities.) The questions I have are:

  • Is there a problem with adding information from the Infinities material to an article?
  • If this is not a problem, then what should this information be listed under? Behind the Scenes, or would it have its own special heading?

I ask because I added an article on the Justice Star (the re-christened Death Star from SWI:ANH) and while I wanted to add a brief sentence about it in the Death Star I article, with a link to the Justice Star, I was unsure of where it should be located. (Under what heading.) This led me to do some digging, and I found that while the Darth Vader article includes a pic of his white armor from SWI:RotJ, there is no mention of any info or details included with it. The same for Leia and Yoda, etc. (Although none of their articles contained pics from these series.)

I am enjoying editing and adding info to this site, and don't want to do anything that would mess it up, so please let me know something soon. Chervil JaingHead 03:20, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

  • I'd add the content to the page about the comic. As for an article about the Justice Star, I'd say just add the information to the Behind the Scenes of the Death Star with a clarification such as In Star Wars Infinities A New Hope, the Death Star.... Since the Justice Star is just the renamed Death Star it doesn't really need it's own article. Cull Tremayne 17:16, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
    • Ok, I rewrote the article (apparently I lost focus), but do I take this to mean that there should not be an article for the Justice Star. (I had already written it before I asked the above question)?

If this is the case, do we need to then mark it for deletion, or what? I am still trying to learn all of this, but of course there hits a point where you can only learn by trial and error. Any advice or help is very much appreciated. Thanks! Chervil JaingHead 23:21, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

      • I do know that we do have quite a few non-canon articles, not just for real-world products but also for in-universe planets, individuals, and technology (apparently even the LEGO Rebel Friend has his article... that might need deletion). From what I've read on your article itself, the Justice Star does have clear distinctions from the Death Star itself, even if it is the original ship, and having its information in a separate article would avoid muddying up the Death Star's own article. -BaronGrackle 02:19, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
