Jack just reverted my edit that removed the Millennium Falcon's italics in the initial quote. It's not the problem in itself, because ship names should be in italics, but quotes are basically in italics, so writing ''Millennium Falcon'' into the quote happens to remove the italics. As a result, everything is in italics in the quote, EXCEPT for what really should be, the ship name. This is a dumb thing. What do you people think? - TopAce 14:29, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

  • My English teacher would slap you with a ruler ;). I was always taught that, if there was something with italics in a quote, say a ship name, the italics must be removed from the word or words. Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 14:31, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
    • You could have said that instead of your usual "Reverted." - TopAce 14:36, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
      • I did the second time. ;) Fleet Admiral J. Nebulax (Imperial Holovision) Imperial Emblem 14:53, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
        • I saw that, and I was talking about the first time. Any other comments, anyone? If there are others who know it the way Jack does, then so be it. It still looks stupid, though. - TopAce 15:01, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
          • Jack is right. I see it all the time in books. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 17:29, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
          • Exactly. The way the article is now is OK. Snoop 17:34, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
            • I know it might seem awkward at first, but yes, that is the correct way to format italics. -- Ozzel 05:12, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
