Could we have a list that shows all lightsaber wielders known lightsaber colors, whether they be Jedi, Sith, Dark Jedi, etc.? Like:

  • Luke Skywalker (green), (blue), (red)

  • I thought some users might find this idea interesting, but I'm not sure if I or some users would find the time it would take to make this list as complete as possible worth it. Any thoughts, questions? Roron Corobb Talk NR Seal 19:07, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
    • OK one, what would be the point? And two, it wouldn't work because their are characters that change their weapon colour many times. And what about characters that have weilded someone else lightsaber (i.e. Han Solo on Hoth), would they be on the list? 19:23, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
      • Interesting idea. Not essential, but I don't see how it could hurt anything. I like the listing by color idea, and under green, you could have "Luke Skywalker (also blue, red)" and then under blue "Luke Skywalker (also green, red)", etc. If you included Han Solo, you'd need a note of some sort to say that it wasn't his, but I'd suggest only including lightsabers built by the person. —Xwing328(Talk) 23:34, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
        • I wouldn’t necessarily say built by the person, because then you couldn't count Mara Jade (who uses Anakin Skywalker's old lightsaber) or people like Anja Gallandro who wasn't even a Jedi, but consistantly weilded a lightsaber. But still probably only people that own a lightsaber. And I like the categorizing them under colors with other colors listed by the name. --Wildyoda-talk-contribsYoda cartoon 23:48, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
          • Yeah, I guess owning would be a better word. Either way, I think you get what I meant. —Xwing328(Talk) 06:03, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
            • Guess I'll get started then, probably need some help. Roron Corobb Talk NR Seal 01:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
            • Someone's sig turned everything blue. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Audience Chamber) 05:47, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
              • Are you going to include the Hasbro lightsaber colors? Has Leland Chee said anything about the canonocity of these colors?--Sompeetalay 10:33, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
                • Like what colors are you thinking about?
                  • I think there was a Mace Windu figure with a blue lightsaber, for instance, and a couple others with differences from movies and other sources. Do we have a stance on canonocity of Hasbro figures in general? --Wildyoda-talk-contribs-Yoda cartoon 23:34, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

BTW: I fixed the sig problem. Roron Corobb Talk NR Seal 13:53, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

  • Yeah, sorry about that, the problem didn't manifest itself in Mozilla, so I didn't know until XWing328 fixed it in my template, so it shouldn't happen anymore. --Wildyoda-talk-contribs-Yoda cartoon 23:34, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
    • The only lightsaber made by Hasbro that is disputed in canon is the orange AOTC one, and orange lightsabers are canon. See Peerce and Yoshi Raph-Elan, there are also several other wielders of a lightsaber of that color. This was only disputed at first because some EU inexperienced-movie-purists combinations didn't think that there were orange lightsabers so they said that orange lightsabers weren't real. But basically, every single color I can think of that isn't a combination of two colors is represented in lightsaber colors. See, "List of lightsaber wielders by lightsaber colors." • As long as you are organizing Jedi and Sith by lightsaber color, what about adding a new category to the character info box? It would have their primary lightsaber color listed in their character infobox.Darth Solus 00:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
        • Hmmmmm. Could work, I guess, but for people who have more than one lightsaber color you would need to put those too. It wouldn't take up that mauch space. Might work. Roron Corobb Talk NR Seal 00:50, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
          • Should I get started on it? I don't see how anyone could object to it.Darth Solus 02:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
            • Wasn't exactly what I meant by "disputed," Roron. I was talking about a Hasbro figure that had a lightsaber that was not the same as the movies or any other source. But not being an action figure expert, I can't with certainty give an example of what I'm talking about, although I'm positive I've read some before. At any rate, I'd say go for it, Solus. If a minor problem arises later, we'll deal with it when we get there, but in general, no I don't think anyone should object either. --Wildyoda-talk-contribs-Yoda cartoon 05:55, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
  • No infobox categories. That's just not infobox material. Havac 06:57, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Agreed. It really doesn't tell you anything useful about the character. I think the list we have going is more for fun and to appease the OCD of those of us who care. Havac's right. Not infobox material at all. --Wildyoda-talk-contribs-Yoda cartoon 07:52, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
  • What about at the bottom of the page where it has the trivia and the traits/abilities?Darth Solus 19:06, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
    • With all likelihood, it should be in the articles already. And it doesn't need a seperate section to say what color they use. —Xwing328(Talk) 00:51, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Actually WildYoda, Mace had a blue saber in all sources before 2002, including many appearances in the comics prior to AOTC.--Valin Kenobi 19:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
    • The reason this is, is because around the time of 32 BBY Mace Windu was using a lightsaber built by Eeth Koth, which had a blue blade, it was part of their coordinance of fealty. He gave the lightsaber back when he built his electrum, pruple bladed lightsaber sometime between the Battle of Naboo and the Battle of Geonosis.AzureAngel 02:20, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
      • [sigh] No. Eeth's saber was green. The Concordance of Fealty was merely to explain why Mace was seen with two different unignited saber hilts on his belt in different pieces of promotional material for TPM. He is seen using the blue lightsaber in a number of comics, such as Jedi Council: Acts of War.--Valin Kenobi 04:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
  • I've gone ahead and updated a great deal by color. I REALLY like going by name though because people did wield multiple lightsaber colors (like Skywalker). Mrobviousjosh 02:20, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
