Someone's going to have to herd all of Wikia's little runaway wikis and RPG wikis for SW into one area, and I believe Splarka has considered having Wookieepedia go through the new requests for SW wikis that form. Here is the latest one I've stumbled across. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:15, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I know that one, and I know the gaming and fanon SW wikias, but not the RPG one. Personally, I have no problems with such co-existing wikias, since they're all specialized and each serves its own unique purpose. I think it's better that they're kept separate than if they're all lumped together. KEJ 07:25, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Keep these separate SW Wikias but we must find some way to coordinate all of them including Wookieepedia into some sort of command or union. Something like the European Union or NATO. Each of these SW groups sends representatives to some sort of council which help these Wikias to cooperate together. (eg. helping another Wikia in times of needs especially expansion). What do you think or is this impossible? MyNz 08:11, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
      • It's impossible. .... 08:16, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
        • Shouldn't they form a pact to help each other? Or have some been form to oppose Wookieepedia? MyNz 08:37, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
          • I don't think they are forming some kind of evil alliance and are plotting against us, man. Its just a website. -- blog Doo Doo vids 07:26, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I think the best solution would be that of a council which consists of some Admins but mostly bureaucrats as they are higher in authority to that of an average Admin. The number of members within this council could only be decided once every Star Wars related Wiki has been found. Those who are Bureaucrats of a responsible nature and age come to think of it, should remain on the council indefinitely, Admins could be changed and serve on a monthly basis. The number of members from one site should be equal so there is no one sided situation. It’s just a theory but it could work. Joker1138(Mandalore) Neo-Crusader emblem
    • I don't see any reason for it. None of those Wikis were created in opposition to Wookieepedia, and each serve their own unique purpose. --Danik Kreldin 17:04, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I didn't state that we need to merge these RPGs wikis or SW wikis that serve their own purpose, but considering that it can get out of control. This is only meant to help streamline Wikia's many wikis. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:19, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I think it's good to have separate wikia about materials not welcome here. By that I mean RPG statistics, values, character classes, and all the non-canon stuff that derive from that. The Star Wars Fanon Wiki is something similar. - TopAce 18:22, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • That is exactly what I was thinking, not to merge them just keep an eye on them, and share information and help in keeping the standard for all star wars wiki’s high. Joker1138(Mandalore) Neo-Crusader emblem
  • Let's list all the wikis that are on Wikia, not counting the different languages of Wookieepedia. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:31, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Star Wars Fanon Wiki
Star Wars Gaming Wiki
Star Wars Games Wiki
Star Wars Merchandise Wiki
Star Wars Galaxies Wiki
Star Wars Exodus RPG Wiki
  • I didn't think SOTE got made in the end. Anyway, try this list, which should be complete. Green Tentacle (Talk) 18:47, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • Dahhhh...der... :O I guess I didn't notice that. -- Riffsyphon1024 18:52, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
      • Star Wars Games Wiki is good because it will have things Wookieepedia isn't allowed to have, how to play the game and beat the game, while still being informative about the game. supergeeky1 BobaFett The Cantina 18:53, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
        • I'm one of three administrators over at Star Wars MUSH Wiki. We started back in December of '05. It doesn't have as many articles as Wookieepedia because it doesn't deal with the whole of the Star Wars universe... just the characters, events, and story of Star Wars MUSH, a sixteen year old online Star Wars game (that's older than most of the Expanded Universe ;p). Our player-base numbers over a hundred, but has had thousands of players over the past sixteen years. We're small compared to the Wookieepedia community. We're well put together and are capable of handling our community... any articles on the Wiki that don't pertain to Star Wars MUSH (like the Battle of Endor), we just link to Wookieepedia. Otherwise we'd just be cloning Wookieepedia but that's not what we do. We have our own history, own storyline, own characters, all in the Star Wars universe. However, I fail to see a reason to bunch us all together or have some sort of "council" or what-have-you. --Danik Kreldin 19:05, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
          • According to Wikia's list, we're currently 37th most active Wiki.. which isn't bad, considering there are well over a 100 ;p We're getting there... --Danik Kreldin 19:11, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  • I vote "Raze them all to the ground". Havac 19:42, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
    • I don't see the point of fighting a war with other Star Wars Wikis. Nor do I see why we should control what they're doing. Nor do I see the need for a grand council or anything. Let them do their thing, and we'll do our thing. KEJ 23:35, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Once again I seem to been misunderstood. I do NOT want to merge wikis togethers that cover subjects asides from Wookieepedia, though redundancies will be questioned if their material can be added here. I simply wanted Wikia to group everything together and now Green Tentacle has shown me their page. My questions have been answered. -- Riffsyphon1024 04:02, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
  • BTW, the Star Wars Galaxies Wiki is not on Wikia. KEJ 10:02, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
