Coming across the Into the Great Unknown article, I see that there is a template for non-canon articles, but there is no corresponding Star Wars picture and quote (e.g. "Perhaps the archives are incomplete"... "Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time"...)

Perhaps we could decide on one? I have a few ideas:

  • Yoda (Ep.III): "A prophecy...that misread could have been."
  • Young Anakin: "I had a dream I was a Jedi. I came back here and freed all the slaves."
  • Luke (Ep.VI): "You told me Vader betrayed and murdered my father."

Any other ideas? Any of these look good? Is there even a need to add a picture/quote for this template? Incidentally, this question could very well belong in the "Consensus Track" instead of "Senate Hall". If so, then my apologies. BaronGrackle 16:25, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

  • Good choices up there already. Things that are not what they seem. Btw, this is fine for this sort of question. Consensus Track deals with more widespread changes. -- Riffsyphon1024 06:02, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
  • From the KOTOR comics: "You will see both the future and oblivion before you." - Q'anilia Kuralyov 06:50, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
  • Here are two that I made up. Thoughts? Kuralyov 04:48, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I like number two. One just doesn't seem . . . relevant enough for me. -- Havac 05:12, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

  • I like this most recent one. Yes, the articles will be non-canon, but I think it looks nicer if the template IS from something canon. Even better, this one is from the original Trilogy, and it's pithy. BaronGrackle 15:56, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
    • "but I think it looks nicer if the template IS from something canon." What exactly do you mean? Kuralyov 17:51, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I like the last one, as it's the most easily identifiable. RMF 18:07, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
  • I like the 2nd and 3rd ones. The first one is too vague in my opinion. -Finlayson 02:09, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
    • "What exactly do you mean?" Sorry for the mixup. What I meant was, I think it looks nicer if the template is from the MOVIES. The first two examples are nice, but they're expanded universe things. The template from the movie is, as Rmfitzgerald says, the most easily identifiable. That's just my opinion.
      • Maybe someone should set up a CT on it then so we can choose one. Jasca Ducato 13:08, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
      • So... how exactly could this happen, or should it? BaronGrackle 11:56, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
  • The second one or third one. But I think the last one might be a wee bit better. —Mirlen 04:03, 11 June 2006 (UTC)
  • Going with Marc's. More identifible and the words work the best. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:49, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
