Is there any source at all that names the period between 1000 BBY and 19 BBY as the "Republic Classic era"? I've checked the only two sources listed on the article, and they say the following:
Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader mentions the Republic Classic era in the context of Bail Prestor Organa's clothes: "[..] Organa was [..] always meticulously dressed in the style of the Republic Classic era, like the Naboo, rather than in the ostentatious fashion of Coruscant."
The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia doesn't have an entry for the Republic Classic era, but has an entry for the "Great Peace of the Republic": "The period of galactic history between the Battle of Ruusan and the Clone Wars, in which the Old Republic believed it existed without the threat of war. While many historians have acknowledged that no major conflicts were fought during this 1000-year period, there were all manner of threats and opposition slowly building."
It seems to me that the Dark Lord's mention of the Republic Classic era is too vague and doesn't actually give any dates that would support the term's application to the period between 1000 BBY and 19 BBY. Therefore doing so looks like speculation to me. It also means that, if there are no other sources for this, the corresponding year navbox template and a ton of year articles should have "Republic Classic era" corrected to "Great Peace of the Republic" (since it is at least sourced) and the four Clone Wars years should have their own year navbox or something. Unless someone has a source that has yet to be provided, I would suggest asking Leland Chee if the Holocron has any specific dates assigned to these eras. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 23:53, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
