I have a question. Is it generally frowned upon to use screenshots of a certain character if it is not "actually" that character? For example, in SWG, all Scout Troopers look identical. Say I want to create an article on a specifically named Scout Trooper from SWG (like... SK-242 or something), but he's no longer in the game. It'd be impossible to get a screenshot of the *actual* SK-242, so would it be allowed to take a screenshot of another, generic no-name Scout Trooper from SWG and use that as a profile image?
I haven't done this before, but just wanted to ask before I did anything. StarsiderSWG 16:45, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
I can't think of any rule that say either way on this, but I'd think that it would be frowned upon since we like all things on Wookieepedia to be precise and "factual." Even though he looks the same as other troopers, he isn't other troopers. --Cal Jedi(Personal Comm Channel) 22:54, September 24, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, the cap has to be of the actual subject. However, you can take a pic of a Scout and put it in the BTS as a "this is what Scout Troopers looked like in Galaxies" sort of thing. It would be more relevant than an image of one from an alternate source realized in a different format. NaruHinaTalk 01:44, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
