Now I understand in articles characters are referred to by there last names, respectively. I've come across (what I think) to be a small problem in the featured article Garris Shrike regarding one sentence;
"Only his officers—among them his brother Larrad, the ship's navigator Nooni Dalvo, and the Elomin Brafid—were allowed to carry weapons, in order to preserve Shrike's control."
Should Larrad be Larrad Shrike, or be left as is to prevent any confusion with Garris? Seeing as it is a FA I don't want to just go ahead with anything.. Korsa3 01:59, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
It should be left as is. When an article refers to multiple characters with the same last name, it's standard practice to use first names to avoid confusion. When one of the characters in question is the subject of the article, common practice is to exclusively use last name only for the article subject and first names for any other characters that could otherwise be confused. Ok. Thanks for clearing that up! Korsa3 02:16, June 14, 2011 (UTC)
