  • Does anybody know how to change the background of a species infobox without increasing the size of an image? For example to change the background of the Gossam image to white in the same way that the infobox image in the Galactic Empire article is white. I dont understand the code that well but the "imageBG=white" line does not seem to work? I think that if the background of the image is white then it is visually much better if the edges are white as well. -- Volemlock 18:16, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Uh, won't changing the background color ruin the commonality for the template? Unless you're trying to make a new & different infobox template. -Fnlayson 18:30, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
      • I mean the background of the image in the infobox. For example the Galactic Empire infobox example (shown). In my view the first one looks better. -- Volemlock 18:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

  • OK, I understand that. Looks like you ought to make that change in infobox template, provided no one has a problem with it. -Fnlayson 18:43, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
    • I added that code to the infobox constructor templates a while back in order to provide an override for transparent PNG files. I just haven't gotten around to regenerating all of the infoboxes yet… –SentryTalk 01:15, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
      • Okay, it should work now. –SentryTalk 01:18, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
        • Thank you very much for that Sentry. I will change the backgrounds as I come across them. -- Volemlock 06:48, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
