Maybe this belongs in General Consensus --- but the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War is definitely 29 ABY, not 30 ABY. Leland Chee has confirmed at the official site forums that each NJO hardcover takes place at the beginning of the calendar year. Wookieepedia seems to confirm this itself, listing everything from the Force Heretic Series and The Final Prophecy under the "28 ABY" article, and then mysteriously having only the Battle of Mandalore in the "29 ABY" article, while oddly placing the events of the Unifying Force in the "30 ABY" article.
The timeline in Bloodlines simply states "25 years after a New Hope", dropping the incorrect "25-30" that was used in all previous timelines.
All character deaths from TUF are listed at 30 ABY, and I was wondering if we could do some sort of grand undertaking to change all 30's to 29's. It's also been confirmed on TOS forums that Jacen's sojourn is six years, stretching from 29-35 ABY. —Unsigned comment by Menkooroo (talk • contribs).

That has always been my understanding. Internally, I've never been asked to address it as otherwise. I should also note that I have never been asked to be more specific about the timing of Heir to the Empire, so I've still got it at 9 ABY.
He didn't answer my question about Jacen's sojourn --- Nathan Butler had previously told me that following the publishing of The Joiner King, it was retconned to be six years, not five. However, this is confirmation from Leland that The Unifying Force takes place at 29 ABY, not 30.
