I ask on this because of a specific article, which I know isn't the point of the SH. But I'm also wondering on a more WP-wide scale as well, so bear with me.
The facebook page of Star Wars Books revealed the title of the fourth TOR novel today: The Old Republic: Annihilation. For that page (which someone else created/moved), I copied over the 'official summary' from that facebook page and cited it as such (citation #3 at the moment).
I'm not totally thrilled with this though. I prefer more verifiable sources that can be easily dated to when they were published, rather than sources like social media where older updates kind of slide away over the course of time. For this particular case it won't matter in the long run, I'm sure we'll get a publisher blurb soon enough, but how exactly does sourcing work with social media news reporting like this? I had a peek through WP:S and WP:ATT and neither of them quite seemed to cover what we're to do in these cases.

- Official Star Wars facebook and twitter accounts are perfectly valid sources, provided they are run by licensed LFL officials. The Star Wars Books fb page is one of those. When a post reveals new info, we can just link directly to it. Darth Trayus(Trayus Academy) 20:07, February 29, 2012 (UTC)
- However, FWIW, YouTube, or things like it, is not a source. On this account, though, per Trayus.—Cal Jedi (Personal Comm Channel) 02:41, March 1, 2012 (UTC)
