I don't think we should include things that occur naturally in both our universe and SW's. Sunglasses and chopsticks yes, because they were invented; but things that simply occur due to the laws of physics, and exist in our world, no. At least, that's my opinion. Thanos6 07:45, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

  • They exist don't they? This encyclopedia is meant to be in-universe, by noting the occurences of these things throughout the galaxy. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:54, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
    • OK then, let's work our way through the periodic table. Thanos6 07:55, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
      • Well, they should only be mentioned if actually referenced in a Star Wars source. jSarek 07:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
        • And that is the goal here. I'm not adding things that don't exist in the GFFA; these things have been shown that they do. -- Riffsyphon1024 08:00, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
          • Besides, we want Wookieepedia to be somewhat educational, don't we? AdamwankenobiTalk to me! My home. 12:29, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
            • Then should we delete Humans, Thanos? -- Ozzel 19:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
              • And galaxy and planet and E-mail. Basically delete these and you can delete everything else. -- Riffsyphon1024 13:29, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
                • Articles like this are also handy for illustrating the similarities and differences between the two galaxies. --Azizlight 14:31, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
                  • Yeah, folks keep that in mind next time some damn fool VfDs sunglasses :-P KEJ 21:43, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
                    • Right: a real-world article on oxygen won't tell us which Star Wars species can't breathe oxygen, nor will a real-world article on dogs reveal that Lando had a puppy when he was a kid. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:06, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
                      • Nor would a realworld article on Salt tell us about the Arcona addiction to the substance. I say if there is a Star Wars spin on it, it can have an article. --Eyrezer 23:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
