  • I noticed some links of with underscores instead of spaces: i.e. The_name_of_the_article as opposed to The name of the article. Both links worked properly. Is there an internal feature in Wikia that makes these the same or must there be a redirected page somewhere? I tried but could not get The_name_of_the_article give me anything else than the acutal article. For reference I was looking at X-wing:_Starfighters_of_Adumar vs. X-Wing: Starfighters of Adumar. A silly question I know, but I'm curious. Eniad (Boring conversation anyway.) 11:43, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
    • Yes; as you'll note, the URL to pages has underscores instead of spaces, because that's how URL's treat spaces. Essentially, when you're creating a link in a wiki, you're creating the last part of the URL, which is why certain characters aren't usable in article titles, and why others sometimes have unexpected effects (a slash creates a subpage, for instance, which is why articles like TIE/ln starfighter claim to be subpages of the TIE article. jSarek 16:10, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
