I just recently accepted the position of Chief Editor, serving as a temporary leader in our leader Cylka's absence. I wanna say thank you to Soresumakashi, Tommy9281, Dark Lord Trayus, Menkooroo, NaruHina, Grunny, Eyrezer, and anyone else for your confidence in me and your support. That means a lot to me, and I won't let you guys down.

Now, we've got to get down to business. I'll be sending messages to most of the members, asking them if they wish to continue to participate in the project. They have a deadline of one week to respond. If there is no response, I will assume that they have other priorities that is preventing them from participating and will remove their names from the list. We members also need to talk about updating the articles, and would like to go over our GA and FA list and edit as necessary. If you have any questions, please contact me on my talk page or my e-mail.--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 02:33, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

  • OK, I can access IRC now. So, when would be a good time for a meeting?--Jedi Kasra (comlink) 09:15, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
    • How about sometime next week? We shouldn't leave it any later than next weekend as that will only give us a week to get the Jedi Civil War article up to standards (INQ 35 is on August 7th). The normal timings for INQ meetings are good because it means that only one or two of us need to be nocturnal. How would Thursday sound? NAYAYEN:TALK 19:32, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
      • Inq meetings are usually held at 0:00 of a particular day, so that would be 8:00 PM where I live. Thursday sounds great, and the meeting should end…whenever. We all have a lot to discuss. Any project member who does not attend the meeting should leave notes here, possibly.--—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 19:49, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
        • Works for me. JethLordMasterYing yang copy (Xia Order) 20:12, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
          • And anyone who is interested in participating in the project that isn't a member already, or admins, Inqs, ACs, and project leads, are welcome to attend, should you desire to.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 20:28, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
        • That's 00:00 UTC at thursday? Or 24 hours later? Either case, it's 03:00 in the morning here, so I will find some difficulties to be active, but I will try. --Tm_T (Talk) 14:17, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
          • It's Thursday late-afternoon/evening in the US, mainly because most editors are there. It'd be 0300 Friday for you, and 0000 for me on BST (UTC+1). Just to clarify (assuming we use the INQ times), it's 1500 PST, 1800 EST, 2300 GMT (+1 in UK) and 0830 ACST (to get Soresu and Grunny hopefully). NAYAYEN:TALK 21:51, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • I should be fine, but it depends on who's home that day. Expect me. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 18:16, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
    • Oh, I'll have to be unblocked from the channel to attend. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 18:18, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
      • Who should I ask to unblock you? Because I only rejoined IRC recently.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 23:55, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
        • Toprawa. I don't know why. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 06:07, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
          • You should be able to join the meeting (FYI for others too). --Tm_T (Talk) 11:57, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
  • OK wait what? Is this 0:00 UTC Thursday or Friday? Nayayen says it like it's Friday 0:00 UTC. Me and (probably) Grunny are in AEST (+10), so it'll be 10am here. I'll try to attend from school. I should be able to make it; it'll be around my period 2/recess time. SoresuMakashi(Everything I tell you is the truth) 02:26, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • Nayayen's correct, 0:00 Friday is 8:00 PM Thursday in Virginia, 5:00 PM in California, etc. Looking forward to seeing you there.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 05:11, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
      • Hi guys, I probably won't be able to make it to the meeting. My wedding rehearsal is Thursday night :) But if there's a report I'll give it a read. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 14:19, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
        • First off, let me just say congratulations, Taral! Anyway, I'll see if somebody can save a transcript of the meeting. Any notes or concerns you wanted to leave for the meeting?—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 14:51, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
          • Thanks! I was actually about to do a forum post for this anyways, so I may as well bring this up here: perhaps we can create a list of source material everyone here has access to. For example, I just did an update to Endar Spire, but don't have the The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. So if there's a list of what books/comics/games we all have that's relevant to the Project, then it would make it easy for me to ask one particular person to look it up. That's all I have to add right now. Also, in an unrelated note, can someone please check the Endar Spire in the Encyclopedia and tell me on my Talk Page if there's anything important in it? Thanks. Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith -Just shy, not antisocial: You can talk to me!- 14:56, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
          • I'm idling in that channel and also logging everything, so I can clean up the logs and post them after the meeting. Sorted? --Tm_T (Talk) 15:03, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
            • Definitely sounds like a good idea, will bring this up during the meeting. I'll get back to you today on the CSWE's entry on the Endar Spire, but for future reference, you can go here and ask.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:06, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
              • And if you could do that, Tm, that would be much appreciated.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 15:14, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • I've asked Tope to pass on a message in IRC but, for the record, I probably won't be able to make it. A surprise rescheduled job interview means I need to be out of the house by 7AM, and the meeting is at 1AM; 5 hours sleep may not be the best of ideas. As for some form of notes... We need to make updating Jedi Civil War a major priority. I should be able to help out with the Atlas stuff if need be. I also think that we should try and re-FA/GA our previous articles, especially now that the comics have finished. I could consider tentatively (uncertain enough? =P) volunteering to take on Mandalorian Wars, in a co-project if anyone else wants to. Also, on Taral's mention of sources, I've compiled a list of the relevant WOTC web content. If people want (and if nothing dramatic would happen copyright-wise), I'll put the Google cache saves into PDFs and make them available on that list/by email. Ironically, I'll probably be around for the meeting having posted all this. NAYAYEN:TALK 21:07, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
