I'd like to dive into the Star Wars books. Where is a good place to start? I know there is the Standard episodes 1-9, but where do all the other stories fit it in?
I only know of six episodes. The other three are not real and probably never will be. But anyway, whatever era you're interested in is fine. If you pick up any paperback book printed within the last several years, you'll find a timeline of most (but not all) of the novels, telling you where each fits in. There's also a very similar question already on this page, under star wars novels. If you read that, you'll find a whole bunch of suggestions about where to start. --Hobbie 19:19, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
You could also create your own time-line for a Star Wars period that has not yet appeard and add it into the cannonical time-line that's already present. Darth Morec 20:35, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
What? No, Darth Morec, you can't do that, at least not on this wiki. To respond to the original poster's reference to "episodes 1-9", please check our Sequel trilogy article for some information on that. I'm curious to know where you heard of episodes 7-9. —Silly Dan(talk) 22:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
sorry might have misunderstood the question posted Darth Morec 23:07, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
