Enforcing the rules
Edit
If we're going to have rules, can we please actually enforce them? Time and time again I see questions spiral into discussions, which spiral into debates, which go around and around in circles, all aided and abetted by administrators, "admin-types" and other users who really ought to know better. If we're not going to enforce the rules, can we not just make it a free-for-all forum? -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Agree, Acky. I think this should come up at the next mofference with regard to the future of the KB. Master Aban Fiolli {Alpheridies University ComNet} 22:45, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- Disagree. that is the point of a forum, to be able to have debates.CmdrA-118 22:33, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- That's not the point of this forum. It's simply to ask questions with relatively clean-cut answers. —Silly Dan (talk) 13:38, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- But then again, the answers to the clean-cut questions almost always be found if people bothered to look around. The only real case where I think people might have problems finding answers to those questions are if the page doesn't exist, if it's badly explained or if something appears in a film and they can't figure out who or what something is.
