What I would like to know is what benefit is it to be a member of Wookieepedia? Is the information I have put on this website secure?

People Need To Stop Deleting Articles That Are Cannon Edit

I recently saw that the Bryla Secrua article was deleted for not absolute reason by user SFH claiming it was fanon well it wasnt because i looked it all up and she's mentioned. So the format and spelling was sloppy but come on we create good articles over time not in the one hour it was on Wokkeepedia also sevral articles concerning topics in the George Lucas BBC interview were deleted like the Havarian article which was brought up durring the interview and was added to this Wikia twice and erased twice for no absolute reason. so to the administraitors bring back the Bryla Secura and Havarian articles so they can be reformed and revised to meet our standards. I will leave this open for disscussion until noon tomarrow when i will readd the articles. So unless you can come up with text and propper sources to discredit these articles as cannon dont mess around with them unless you want to make them better. Unsigned comment by (talk • contribs).

Canon?? Edit

I recently heard that George Lucas has recently established that nothing, other than the movies, are now considered canon because they're not the direction he would've taken Star Wars in, is this true? And, if so, what does this mean? We're not going to actually go with him on this, because I'd pick KotOR, The Thrawn Trilogy, and several others over George Lucas in a heart beat. 05:37, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

  • Sorry, that was actually me, who posted that, I didn't realize I wasn't signed in. Xanofar 05:37, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Is there a URL for this? We need proof! If you don't have proof, then how do we know it's true?--B-Boba Fett! Aaahh! Run! He'll kill us all! 17:51, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

Clone Trooper QuestionEdit

I was wondering becuase the clone troopers are around 10 years should they not be nomiated for Mr. Universe contest..--Darthahsokaboyfrenidfett 19:48, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

EU to AU Edit

With Disney buying Lucasfilm Ltd. and with the planed Episode VII being an original story disregarding the EU it comes into question as to how much if any of the EU storylines be taken into consideration by Disney which would mean the expanded universe will become the alternate universe.

On a side note I would imagine the G level canon no longer exists?

  • You are grossly misinterpreting the meaning of "original story". That doesn't necessarily mean that the movie will overwrite existing canon, it could mean that the movie will be set in a time period that had not yet been explored. G-canon also still exists, and this isn't the place to discuss it. Cade Calrayn StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit 17:38, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

Issue: URL named right but not working. Edit

Basically, when I click "Add topic" on the Senate Hall place the URL is filled with lots of "create_new_topic"s, but I get redirected to a page entitled "Recent Wiki Activity". I believe I had this issue in the past on the Knowledge Bank section too, but that was a good while back. Any possible explanation known?

Information on Darga the Hutt Edit

I've recently talked with user User:Winterz about the correction for Darga Jiramma Mionne's approximate date of death, and he told me to post the subject here for for further discussion. I will repost what I told him, about why I think Darga could not have died "c. 17 BBY" :

"Well actually I only have conjectures, since it's an RPG. But consider this: 'DOD, meanwhile, takes place right after RotS. The modules say "a few months" IIRC, and Wookieepedia places the death of Darga the Hutt (in Episode 3, and probably a month at most after the PC's begin the campaign) in 19 BBY. I told my players it had been about 8 months since the end of the war.' - Source: MasterSilverBack, from Wizards of the Coast Community. He seems about right. If we were to calculate all the time spent on these 10 adventures that constitute the Dawn of Defiance Campaign, by my calculations, it wouldn't be more than 3 years. I'm basing myself on what the author of these adventures has wroten on several adventures: 'Weeks after the last adventure... Months after the last adventure...' But he never mentioned : 'a year has gone by since the last adventure...'"

Videos Edit

Why aren't we allowed to post videos? Akli000 (talk) 16:46, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

  • You should read this and its policies there linked. On other words, videos aren't allowed in here. Totally unnecessary if you ask me (our policies are still worth a look from you though). Winterz (talk) 17:13, November 1, 2013 (UTC)

I think we should remove all "nolegends" tags from the movie pages (by movies I mean Star Wars I to VI), as Disney has confirmed that everything in them is canon (look for "Star Wars canon" on Wikipedia) 23:16, September 18, 2014 (UTC)

  • The {{Nolegends}} template does not state that the pages are Legends. It states that they are canon, and that the Legends information on the page should be excised (or better yet, clarified as Legends) and the article's links and other content converted to NuCanon. Outdated user page Edit

How do I undo a removal of my user page? I'd like what I had on my page before my user page became outdated again, I want to know how to do it myself so I don't have to ask every time it gets outdated (the 12 months rule problem). Kamila_064 talk 18:29, September 24, 2015 (UTC)

  • One way to do this (assuming you're using the Wikia skin) is to go to your user page, click the drop-down arrow next to "Edit profile," click on "History," and then click "undo" on the most recent edit. Cwedin (talk) 18:41, September 24, 2015 (UTC)
  • However, per policy, you are not permitted to have a user page and if you revert it, it will likely be reverted back to inactive as soon as an Admin sees it. <-Omicron(Leave a message at the BEEP!) 18:55, September 24, 2015 (UTC)

Am I not permitted to have a user page? I'm not blocked I just have an Outdated user page. If someone dosen't use Wookieepedia before 12 months a user page i removed, so wouldn't that mean that I can "just" undo? and then the klok would start over. Kamila_064 talk 11:31, September 25, 2015 (UTC)

  • Having a user page is a "privilege" for active users, those who make edits. Simply coming back isn't sufficient to restore that privilege, you must actually contribute. --LelalMekha (talk) 11:48, September 25, 2015 (UTC)
