Back to page
Right now forum "threads" are placed at [[Wookieepedia talk:Thread title]]. Perhaps this should be changed so they're placed at a subpage of the Senate Hall instead? --Imp 22:03, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- Unless you're satisfied with each page being displayed as "Senate Hall/name", it is impossible. We could make a new namespace, though. - Sikon [Talk] 01:40, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- How would we do that? --MarcK [talk] 01:42, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

My Mercenary Restoration Plan
Mercenarys have a big part in Star Wars history and I think the should be honered. But have you looked at the Mercenary page lately? It's disgraceful. So I have come up with a plan but I need support. My plan is to add something new to the Mercenary page every time you learn something new about Mercenaries. gradully the page will grow. So please leave a quick note at my talk page to say that your going to help if you are willing. Please I need support.

New pages for every question?
Why are we creating a new page ("forum") for every single question? Where can people go for a simple response to a query? For example, today, I stumbled upon Glottalphib and Ghottalphib. Which spelling is correct? — SavageBob 20:50, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not totally sure why, either. I think it would be a good idea to create a general spelling question thread in the Senate Hall. Similar threads could be created to hold similar recurring types of general questions, and archived when they get too big. —Silly Dan (talk) 23:53, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Why dont you just make a seperate general forum for just chat? Ugluk 02:19, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- Because we're not a message board, really. —Silly Dan (talk) 03:05, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- I mean more of a general star wars discussion board, for things that you dont want in the senate hall. Ugluk 20:05, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- We could set up a general messageboard off-Wikia, but for now I think most of our users are happy using the Jedi Council Forums, the StarWars.com message boards, or any of the web's many other message boards instead. —Silly Dan (talk) 20:09, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

This is getting out of control
I don't see how Forum:Could the Yuuzhan Vong have ruled the Galaxy? and Forum:Does anyone know anything about star wars rebellion 2 are relevant to the wiki. - Sikon [Talk] 01:20, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. We should put a note on the Senate Hall pointing out that it's for discussion of the wiki, not for general Star Wars chat. (And add something similar to Wookieepedia:What Wookieepedia is not.) —Silly Dan (talk) 01:24, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- The problem continues. Can inappropriate questions be speedily deleted by administrators? For example, "How can I make a lightsaber effect for a fanfilm?" That has no place here, so I can't see the benefit of leaving it alone. — SavageBob 16:56, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- If we added yet another warning like "off-topic questions will be deleted," that would be OK. —Silly Dan (talk) 18:02, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Galactic date
I hate creating new pages for every little question. So here's mine: Can someone tell me when (using BBY reckoning) this HoloNet News article takes place? Thanks! — SavageBob 20:16, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- 22 BBY. For future reference, the 13:3:14 at the top after the volume number is the date, measured from the Great ReSynchronization in 35 BBY, in Year:Month:Day format. - Lord Hydronium 04:59, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Forums
How do you make your page a forum? {{67890 19:21, 30 April 2006 (UTC)}}
- You can't. If people want to talk to you, they can use your talk page. —Silly Dan (talk) 22:40, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Discussion warning
I know Imp removed the big red font from the "not a discussion forum" warning a while back (on account of being "ugly"), and it seems to me we've had an increase in general discussion type questions since then. Shouldn't we restore it? -- Ozzel 19:49, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Probably, unless we just accept the increase of discussion type questions. jSarek 20:02, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Archiving
The Senate Hall needs a lot of archiving (moving articles to the SH archive). Any objections to archiving all threads that haven't been updated since October 1? --Imp 15:36, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- None from me. Some of them (such as any threads which boil down to "whitch jedi is the awesumist???!!!" "Argh! Noob! Wrong website!") may as well be deleted, for that matter. —Silly Dan (talk) 21:41, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed on both counts. jSarek 22:04, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Senate Hall?
Archiving
Since I will not be around anymore, someone else will have to archive the Senate Hall. Here is the table that I have been using:

Searching assistance
I think it should be made a rule that people must make their titles more related to the question topic rather than "I must ask", etc. If for nothing else to help people looking for F.A.Qs. Tutos Lumenarious 01:25, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Cannot create account
I'm having serious issues creating an account. I keep getting the words "Login error: Incorrect or missing confirmation code." in the red box at the top—I assume this refers to the captcha text (nothing at all on the new account page is labeled "confirmation code"). I've tried with about ten different captchas now; I've never had to try a captcha more than twice, and this is getting frustrating. What's going on? 22:33, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
clueless
are you allowed to make up an era that wasnt written or anything?
Zebsolo 22:54, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- No, that would be fanon. The fanon wiki is the place for that. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 22:55, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Star Spoofs Wikia
I do not know if this is the correct place to ask this or not...
I am Leonhart178, i am an admin of the Star Spoof Wikia.
Star Spoof Wikia deals in ALL Star Wars and Star Trek spoofs and parodies (fan film, or official, song or movie, regular or unleaded, etc.) and we have MANY wanted pages... i was just trying to recruit some people to help us out with our wanted pages so we can move forward in our wikia.
Thanks,
