From Pencil to Pixel: The Art of Star Wars Galaxies is a reference book released in June 2003. It features concept art drawings and computer game art from Sony Online Entertainment's MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. The book was shipped with the expensive Collector's Edition of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided and was not for sale elsewhere. However, the 2006 release of Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures included excerpts from the book.
There are artworks for each of the original playable species, the first ten planets and their plants and beasts, as well as concept art of general architecture and starships from the game.
