"This stuff is lightweight and flexible from what I've read. Supposedly it can stop a blaster bolt."
―Bridger includes the armor on his wish list[src]

Frontier armor was a type of gray colored armor available five years before the Battle of Yavin. The street urchin Ezra Bridger read that the armor was lightweight, flexible, and capable of withstanding a shot from a blaster. He included the armor on a wishlist he compiled in his journal.[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Frontier armor was first shown in the reference book Rebel Journal by Ezra Bridger, which was written by Daniel Wallace and published in 2014.
