Fud

Fud was a bounty hunter of an unknown species, who was an associate of the droid hating bounty hunter, Beilert Valance and often seen with Dafi.

Fud had accompanied Valance and other bounty hunters on many droid destroying raids, funded by Valance himself.

When Valance was searching for Luke Skywalker and his droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, Fud was given misleading information from a dying Don-Wan Kihotay about a boy and his droids that led them to Jaxxon on Nar Shaddaa. Kihotay was not referring to Skywalker but Jimm Doshun who served with Han Solo on Aduba-3.

After capturing Jaxxon and torturing him for the information on where Han and the boy with the droids were, Fud and his associates were gunned down and killed by Amaiza Foxtrain.

Fud was created by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson & Bob Wiacek. Because Jaxxon was a rabbit, Archie Goodwin named "Fud" as an homage to Elmer Fudd, a Looney Tunes character who hunted the rabbit, Bugs Bunny.
