Fugazi was an EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The Fugazi helped with the evacuation of Brigia during Operation Strike Fear, carrying base supplies and escaping into hyperspace just before the arrival of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Invincible.

It is also the name of the second studio album (1984) of the British prog-rock band Marillion.

Fugazi is a word meaning "ready to flee, flying; hence, fleeting, transitory", known as a Vietnam-era GI slang for a particularly bad combat situation. It was also the name of Japanese deserters during World War II.
