Fungus (pl. fungi) was an organism found on countless worlds across the galaxy. These included yeasts, molds, and mushrooms. While some fungi were poisonous, such as the Blood-eating fungus,^[1] many varieties were still edible.^[2][3]

Fungus came in a variety of colors, including blue,^[4] blue-green,^[5] pink,^[6] lavender,^[6] peach,^[6] violet,^[7] yellow^[8], and white.^[9] Some types of fungi were also luminescent.^[9]
