Fungus (pl. fungi) was an organism found on countless worlds across the galaxy. These included yeasts, molds, and mushrooms.^[source?] While some fungi were poisonous, such as the Blood-eating fungus,^[1] many varieties were still edible.^[2][3]

Fungus came in a variety of colors, including blue,^[4] blue-green,^[5] pink, lavender, peach,^[6] violet,^[7] yellow,^[8] and white. Some types of fungi were also luminescent.^[9] Fungi from Bakura were rainbow-colored.^[10]

Fungi on Zonama Sekot were capable of movement on boras in order to search sunlight.^[11]
