The fusion lantern or fusion lamp was a hand-held light source that produced light and heat. It was larger than a glowrod and the light spread out producing a 10-meter radius of illumination. A fusion lantern weighed 2 kgs. and from 32 BBY to 8 ABY, was available for 25 credits.
During the Clone Wars, fusion lamps were used on the moon Dorumaa by members of the organization of the crime lord Rufus Trammel.
