G2-9T was one of the supposedly rogue droids that attacked Constable Zuvio during his investigation of a banking ship robbery in Niima Outpost.
Biography[]
As a part of Rikard Lovas's plot to steal the electronic credits of the citizens of Niima Outpost on Jakku, G2-9T and several other droids were sent to an abandoned farmhouse to wait for Zuvio as he tracked the missing secretary droid CZ-1G5. Before Zuvio arrived, G2-9T distributed the weapons CZ-1G5 had stolen from the Office of the Constable among the droids. G2-9T was destroyed when an EG-6 power droid caused the farmhouse to explode.[1]
Characteristics[]
G2-9T had a broken voice modulator which emitted a grinding noise.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
G2-9T first appeared in Star Wars canon in the 2015 short story "High Noon on Jakku," which was written by Landry Q. Walker.[1]
G2-9T shares its name with the G2 repair droid which appears in Star Tours, part of the Legends continuity.
