The GA21 shield generator was a powerful shield generator created by Novaldex.

The Corellian Engineering Corporation installed them on the HT-2200 medium freighter to improve the freighter's defensive capabilities. They also knew that a large percentage of its customer base was involved in less-than-legal freight runs where better shields would be a priority.
