The GLX Firelance was lightweight blaster rifle manufactured by SoroSuub, first released during the last years of the Old Republic. It had a highly effective stun setting, which made it incredibly popular with bounty hunters who needed to bring their prey back alive. As a result, SoroSuub began marketing it as "the most effective weapon available for freelance law enforcement officials".
