The Gaddrian ambassador was a member of an Imperial Senate faction that was interested in establishing a fifth column movement inside the senate with the goal of removing Emperor Palpatine from power. The ambassador met with an Alliance representative aboard the Silver Star to discuss such a possibility.[1]
