Gados
From Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki.
The Gados were furry sapients indigenous to Abregado-rae who originally spoke Gados, but learned Basic as more colonists arrived.
The Gados were incredibly nimble and were known abroad for their gymnastic skills, as shown by the famous Leaping Tee acrobatic group of the Alsakan Circo-Menagerie. They had strange worm-like heads and lanky limbs. The unique aspect of the Gados was that their organs were strewn throughout their bodies in ribbon-like patterns. This was beneficial in that minor injury in a vital area would cause limited damage, but the downside was that if an appendage was lost, the Gados would inevitably die.
Gados were known also for being some of the most amenable species in the galaxy, even overlooking major eccentricities when meeting a person, as if they were nothing. It was unknown whether this was a conscious decision on the Gados' part or whether they simply did not notice such things.
The Gados culture eventually became congruent with Galactic standard, as their own culture was slowly assimilated, including their language, by the alien inhabitants of Abregado-rae.
