Gahg was a male[1] individual who became the first Finance Minister of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY shortly after its creation at the end of the Clone Wars. One of his first tasks was to oversee the annexation of former Separatist holdings which had been seized at the end of the Clone Wars. During a meeting with the Head of State of the Empire, Galactic Emperor Palpatine, his aide Mas Amedda provided a status report from Gahg, stating that the annexation was nearly complete.[2]
Behind the scenes
Gahg was first mentioned in the comic book series Star Wars: Dark Times in the first issue of the The Path to Nowhere story arc published on November 8, 2006 and written by Randy Stradley under the name Mike Harrison.[2] He later received an entry in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, which was published on December 9, 2008.[1]
