Gaitzi was a female Human who lived on Bakura around the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War. She was employed as part of a cleaning crew, known as the Tripod, reporting to Jakaitis. In 28 ABY, Tahiri Veila impersonated her when sneaking into the Bakuran Senate Complex.

She may have been named for "Gatesy" (Steven Gates), of the Australian comedy band "Tripod".
