Galactic Weekly NewsStack was an anti-Imperial news agency that operated during the Galactic Civil War. It was a major thorn in COMPNOR's side; Imperial forces had been working very hard in order to stop this agency from broadcasting. Galactic Weekly NewsStack's programs acted like a virus program and entered the broadcast systems of holonetwork systems and networks of larger corporations. COMPNOR, however, had no success in tracing the true origin of the agency. The only thing that they were able to find was that it was originally transmitted from somewhere in the Outer Rim by an editor who called himself Palpatine II.
