Galaxy Guide 3: The Empire Strikes Back is a supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Michael Stern. Published by West End Games in 1989, it was revised by Pablo Hidalgo with major additions in 1996.
The guide features character profiles with RPG stats for main and some secondary characters from the film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. This book created, for the first time, complete Expanded Universe backgrounds for many characters appearing in the film.
As a novelty in the Galaxy Guide series, a full adventure, ready to play, is included as the last chapter of the guide.
