Galen Derlin was a Galactic Republic Senator of Tiisheraan in the final years of the Galactic Republic.
A respected and well-known senator, Derlin was a close associate of Bail Organa. After the rise of Emperor Palpatine, Derlin resigned his post and withdrew from politics. He returned to his homeworld hoping to escape the Galactic Empire's corruption. His peace did not last long: Imperial operatives assassinated Derlin to demonstrate the reach of Palpatine.
Derlin's son, Bren Derlin, went on to become an important military and intelligence officer in the Alliance to Restore the Republic and New Republic.
